Our condo is located in the Snowscape complex of Wildernest and is very close to all major ski areas in beautiful Summit County (Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge, A-Basin, Copper Mountain, Beaver Creek and Loveland). We are located in a beautiful mountain setting, just steps away from National forest land.
Unlike a lot of condos in the Summit area, ours has a very spacious floor plan. The loft, accessed by a beautiful spiral staircase, gives this condo a total of 1466 square feet. The master bedroom suite and the 2nd bedroom on the main level have queen size beds, the loft has a sofa that makes into a queen size sleeper plus a twin bed and a set of bunk beds giving a sleeping capacity of 9.
The master suite obviously has it's own full bath, a second bath on the main floor is just across from the 2nd bedroom and a third full bath is located in the loft.
Our house rules include no pets and no smoking (rules apply to us too! ). From our balcony you have a great view of the mountains yet access to the condo is close to Interstate 70. Ski areas like Keystone, Copper Mountain or Breckenridge are all very close.
You can choose to bring your own linens or "use and launder" those provided by SKICO. (A washer/dryer is provided in our unit) Also, we do not charge a "cleaning fee" so we ask that you clean the unit as you leave -- a checklist and cleaning supplies are provided. We have received great cooperation from our guests for many years using our "leave it as you found it" policy and that is how we keep our rates so low! !
Amenities: Fireplace, Phone, 2 new 27" cable TVs each with DVD/VCR, CD/Dual Tape Deck player, Microwave, Dishwasher, Full Kitchen, Cookware & Utensils are provided. A large parking lot is located right in front of our unit. The Summit County "free" shuttle comes close to the condo & can take you to the ski slope of your choice or shopping areas. Our clubhouse is a right across the parking lot from the condo & has a hot tub, sauna, indoor pool, game room, & lounge area. A City Market card is available in the condo to save big $$$ on your grocery shopping.
Activities (on site or nearby): Downhill skiing, Cross country skiing, Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Horseback riding, Golf, Tennis, Shopping, Swimming, Boating, Alpine slide, Sightseeing, Mountain Climbing, Whitewater Rafting. (Some of these are obviously for summer time! ! ) Snowscape is located at the base of Buffalo Mountain so lots of walking and climbing trails are close by. We are sitting right next to National Forest terrain and wildlife is often seen near our complex. |
